Here's your chance! Tallest mountain in North America, and, in the entire world, the one with the greatest difference between its base and its summit. 20,310' high. According to the National Park Service, Denali is roughly 3,000 feet taller than Everest, measured from base to peak.
We took a Piper Navajo to about 12.108 feet, so a LOT of mountain was above us. Flew 214 miles in about an hour and thirty-six minutes. Some broken clouds on the way to elevation, but the pilot knew we were going to be breaking out of the clouds to see the top portion of the mountain... "Three...., two....., one.... POW! There it was...

Pretty impressive!
Here are the rest of the pictures...

I hope you enjoyed this "flight" one one-hundreth as much as I did. What a privilege!!!
As a side note, our oldest son, Davis, Jr., has one friend who climbed this mountain twice on one trip (in a tee shirt! It was so nice when they got back to the upper camp after the first summit, they decided to climb it again the next day), and another friend who was on the mountain as we flew overhead. Here's a shot showing their tents... (the little specs).

Thanks for sharing your journey. Incredible pics leading to Denali. Also have a buddy who climbed it and his pic at the summit. Yours give me much more appreciation of the terrain leading to it. Arctic ocean pic very cool.
Quite amazing and beautiful!! Breathtaking!!
